A guest post from a good friend.

Why hello there! First off, my name is Kristen and I'm Charlie's best friend. Today, I'm blogging for Charles because between you and me, she's having a bit of writers block right now. I'm not really sure what I'm going to to write about or where this will take me so just bear with me as I attempt to convey a super deep blurb on my friend's super awesome blog. Or maybe not so deep.

Charlie's never written about me on her blog. I'm going to throw it back to high school in this one because today, I got to spend some time with the people who shaped who I am. My best friends from high school are just that-the best. And I'm lucky that I get to see them often, seeing as we all live within 45 minutes of each other.

First is Charlie. Charlie is my very best friend. I can tell her anything. But the best thing about our friendship, is the fact that even if we don't talk to each other for a week or two, we can always pick up where we left off. There is never an awkward silence or an uncomfortable moment. I can be myself with her and that's how I know that this friendship is stellar. She's smart and sassy and she has a fantastic wit. But above all else, she's a great listener and I can always count on her to be honest with me and to tell me if I'm bring too dramatic. Which I am. Often. So thanks Char, for being charming and for being the S to my B. Love you long time.

Jess. Jess is a character. But Jess is also one of the most considerate, thoughtful, and Jesus loving people I know. She loves the Lord and she has a heart for people. I'm lucky enough to attend the same university as Jess and that friendship has kept me on my toes. She encourages my walk with the Lord and pushes me to ask myself the hard questions. And for that, I am thankful. So Jess, thanks for listening. For letting me talk (about you know) whenever I feel the urge to and thank you for pushing me towards Jesus. I could not imagine life without you and I am forever thankful for that art class sophomore year.

Last is Jackson. I don't think I can adequately describe him or our friendship in one paragraph
but I can tell you how great he is and how absolutely blessed I am by our friendship. Jackson is so smart. Literally the smartest person I know. When people see him, I think they see a guy who's super smart and extroverted. But there are so many layers to him. He cares deeply for people and he's not afraid to invest in something that he cares deeply about and I admire that. He's a friend to everyone, even those who it's hard to be friends with. I can tell him anything. And when I go a few days without talking to him, I feel a certain Jackson shaped hole. He is a constant friend that I hope I never lose. Thanks for being my favorite FUperstar. I love you more than Harry Styles.

So thats it. That's my take on my high school friendships. Maybe one day, Charlie will write a blurb about me, but for now that's mine on them. Thanks to Charlie, Jess, and Jackson for all of the memories and I look forward to making many more with ya'll in the future. You three are truly my most favorites.
