God's sovereignty.

Can we just take a second to talk about God's sovereignty? Thats one thing that's been hard pressed on my heart this semester. Is that through it all, He is still God and He has it all under control.

So the other day, when I felt the calling to go to India I really had to remind myself that God has it under control.

A few months ago, I didn't even wanna fill out the application to go. I didn't feel the tugging on my heart and felt like it would be impossible to raise $3500. Especially since I had already committed to going to Spain for another mission trip.

But I filled out the application anyways. And then a few more weeks went by and I went to the meeting just to see what it was all about.

And then I left almost in tears. A tugging on my heart that I couldn't shake. How could it work out, though?

I feel so inadequate to even go. So ill equipped to take Jesus to this country. But I know He's sovereign. I know there's a plan for it all.

So, somehow, I'm going to India. That somehow? It's the Lord. The only thing I know is that I'm going to India and that God's called me and told me I need to go. I honestly don't know much about what I'll be doing.

I do know that I need to somehow raise and save $3500 to go. And I'll be paying a deposit for Spain the same week that I'll be paying a deposit for India.

So there's definitely gonna be testing. But I'm so excited for what He's gonna teach me and show me on this journey.

I seriously would love any prayers! I'm confidently praying that the Lord is going to provide the money in miraculous ways. Would you join me in that?

Thank you, friends.

  2. Hello Charlie -

This is so wonderful and God is a provider if we remain righteous and in Him. We must always expect miracles from Him as they are abounding. Trust and Believe the finances of it all will be worked out as He is that awesome.

    Happy Thursday!

    1. Thank you so much, Yulunda! I love what you said about expecting miracles! I've been praying in confidence, and I'm trusting He will make a way for it to happen!
